Peter Hemming as a representative oarsman and then a coach, and Tony Blower as a representative oarsman, have an intimate appreciation of the value of team work. The attributes which determine a successful oarsman are the same as those required for a successful business or professional career.

Through the relationship Peter Hemming has developed with the executives of Sydney Uni Sports & Fitness, Heathley offers career mentoring to rowers from USBC.

Tony Blower is Executive Vice President at UNSWRC where he has had an involvement since 1975. He has assisted both in providing mentoring to its athletes and in the financial operations of the Club.

He has been instrumental in assisting in the financial development of the Club and has been intimately involved in providing career advice to the members of this Club.

As an alumnus of UTS, Tony Blower supports this elite racing club. He is currently on the Executive and assisted in the establishment of the "Friends of UTS Rowing", an organisation which provides fund raising for the Club, as well as mentoring to its rowers.
