Peter Hemming  - Executive Chairman and Managing Director

Peter Hemming established Heathley Limited in 1977.

He is responsible for developing the private investment services and the funds management operation of Heathley. He has over 36 years’ experience in investment funds management, merchant banking, funds management and financial services.

He is Chairman of Heathley Asset Management Limited.

He is also a Member of the External Advisory Panel, Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

He is a strong advocate of mentoring young men and women involved in University sport, primarily rugby union and rowing.

He is actively involved in the mentoring of young rowers and is a former World Masters Champion in rowing.

He has over 23 years’ experience in property funds management and asset management and is responsible for overseeing the corporate finance activities of Heathley.

Prior to joining Heathley, he was Company Secretary for an international mining company.

He is actively involved in the promotion of young rugby players.

George W Websdale - Head of Property

Joined Heathley in 2009.

He is primarily responsible for the overall management of all properties and the investment performance of Heathley’s Property Funds.

He is also responsible for developing relationships with the Company’s Private Clients.

He has over 17 years’ experience in all aspects of the management and investment management of commercial and industrial property across Australia.

Prior to joining Heathley, he was General Manager, Office and Industrial at Stockland and has held senior asset management roles at both AMP Capital and Schroders.

He is a Member of the Australian Property Institute and is the 2009 Chair of the NSW PCA Office Committee.

Joined Heathley in 2006.

He is responsible for the technical and financial due diligence on the structuring of Heathley Funds.

He is also responsible for developing relationships with the Company’s Private Clients.

He has had eight years’ experience in investment markets with leading international financial institutions and stockbroking houses in both Sydney and London.

Joined Heathley in 2008.

She is responsible for undertaking preliminary legal due diligence of the Heathley Funds and marketing and communications strategies.

She is also responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with the Private Clients of Heathley.  

Previously, she had 10 years’ experience as a practicing corporate solicitor and in senior management roles specialising in professional indemnity, financial services and the commercial division of a start up technology business.

Before this, she practiced in sports medicine as a physiotherapist.
