He is Daewoo Professor of International Business at Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining the faculty of Harvard Business School, he worked in senior management roles for Alcoa Australia, Baxter Laboratories' subsidiary company in France and as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company, London.

Since joining the faculty of Harvard Business School in 1979, his interests have focused on the strategic and organizational challenges confronting managers in large, complex corporations, and on the organizational and managerial impact of transformational change.
He has published eight books and authored or co-authored over 50 chapters or articles in leading international business journals.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, he maintains ongoing research interests.

He consults with several large companies in the US and Europe.

He is a Director of Indigenous Enterprise Partnerships Limited in Australia.

He is an experienced, independent company director with current and former directorships that encompass major organisations involved in retailing, funds management, property, logistics and health services.

He has been a Chairman and Chief Executive of major organisations in both the private and public sector.

He is a Director of Woolworths Limited and of ALH Group Limited.





DR JOHN A STUCKEY -

PhD in Business Economics (Harvard University)

He was with management consultants McKinsey & Company for over 25 years, where he advised senior executives of major Australian companies on strategy and organisation issues. He worked extensively with global companies including BHP, NAB, Telstra and QANTAS.

He was the Managing Partner of the Australasian practice, Chairman of McKinsey Asia and a Board Member of McKinsey Global..

Today, he is a part-time senior advisor with McKinsey and pursues other business interests.

He is Chairman, External Advisory Panel, Australian Securities & Investments Commission.

He is a Member of Salvation Army (Eastern Division) Advisory Board and a Member of University of New England Foundation.
